Are you open?

Yes! Our open hours can be found on the main page of our website. Any changes to hours will be posted on our website and facebook page.

Can I make an advance reservation?

At this time we are not taking advance reservations. Our research into Children’s Museums that re-opened before we did tells us that we can expect 10-20% of our normal visitor numbers. This should keep us within comfortable numbers for visitors to maintain social distancing. If we find that staff or visitors are feeling that the museum is too crowded, we will implement a system for advance reservations. Mornings tend to be the busiest time at the museum, we recommend that you plan an afternoon visit if you would like to visit at our least busy time.

Are Masks Required?

Masks are required for ages 5 and up, and recommended but not required for children ages 2-4. The CDC recommends that children under 2 do not wear face coverings. Exceptions to the mask requirement can be made for individuals who are unable to wear a mask.

Are you extending memberships?

Because of our extended closure, all membership expiration dates will be extended by 6 months. We will continue to honor membership cards past their expiration dates, but if you plan to use the reciprocal program at another museum past your original expiration date, please visit the front desk to have a new card made.

Are you offering birthday parties?

We are offering birthday parties as private events only to avoid crowding the museum by having regular guests and party groups at the same time. Private parties are available on Sundays, and can be booked by visiting the Birthday Parties tab. For the safety of our staff masks should still be worn by visitors ages 5 and up during private parties, but can be removed while in the party room.
