Covid-19 FAQ’s

Are you open?

Yes! Our open hours can be found on the main page of our website. Any changes to hours will be posted on our website and facebook page.

Can I make an advance reservation?

We are taking reservations for visitors to arrive in the first hour that we are open on Mondays since we have a lower capacity that day. We only offer reservations in the first hour because morning is the busiest time at the museum and we rarely reach capacity in the afternoon. A reservation is not required to enter, only if you are concerned that we may be at capacity when you arrive. So far during the warmer months we have only reached capacity on rainy days.

Are Masks Required?

Mask Up Mondays – To allow families with higher risk individuals in the household to visit the museum safely, masks are required every Monday for all staff, volunteers, and visitors ages 3 and older, no exceptions. If you are unwilling or unable to wear a mask please choose another day for your visit.

All other open hours, masks are recommended for all visitors who are able to wear one. Disposable masks in child and adult sizes are available at the front desk.

Are you offering birthday parties?

We are offering birthday parties as private events only to avoid overcrowding in the museum. Private parties are available on Sundays, and can be booked by visiting the Birthday Parties tab. Based on current CDC recommendations masks are recommended.
